The fund helps local communities deliver facilities that are a part of our everyday lives, projects such as bike paths, sports fields, main street upgrades, playgrounds and community centres.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said the NSW Government remains committed to growing regional communities and economies.

“Year on year, our regions continue to grow and become home to more diverse communities and the Stronger Country Communities Fund is making regional NSW communities a great place, not only to visit, but to live, raise a family and thrive,” Mr Toole said.

“Over the past four rounds of the Fund, we have provided $500 million to more than 2,000 local grassroots projects which are making a huge difference across every single Local Government Area in regional NSW.”

All eligible applicants are encouraged to check the Department of Regional NSW’s website and review the guidelines: www.nsw.gov.au/grants-and-funding/stronger-country-communities-fund-round-5.
